Evolution of Music - Pentatonix

Sometimes it's the subtle things that make a video really come together. The transition from black and white to color in this video is almost unnoticeable on your first watch, but on a second viewing, it becomes so obvious. It compliments the idea here very well.

As far as the vocals themselves go, it's amazing. The beat box is phenomenal; it doesn't sound just like the real thing, but if fills the space so well. The group is very well put together. It's an amazing mix of voices, but it's the way they fit together that makes it work. There's another awesome video below.

I recently just read the original Baum classic Oz book, and I watched the classic movie. To see this vocal interpretation was very cool. It's a brief take on the story, but if you know the tale, you can fill in the gaps. Again, the vocals are great, and it's a lot of fun. The more I listen, the more I think the bass voice is my favorite part. He's got a really smooth tone. The last video here covers his range, and whether or not all of the tech aspects that flash across the screen are correct or not, you can still hear what he's capable of reaching with his voice.
