Nathanson had some success with this song upon its initial release. It hit #59 on the Hot 100, and it's his only single to receive the RIAA platinum certification. It was the second single from his 2008 album Some Mad Hope. This isn't the most impressive showing, but I'll bet most people will have to admit to having heard the song at some point. It's a good tune and plays in a lot of places still today. This song is a cool mix of a sort of nineties alternative sound with something more modern, a la Jason Mraz.
