I don't think (and I could be wrong) that I've ever posted a song twice. The difference here is that this is nothing like the original, which I posted some time ago. This is a sort of semi-jazz/folk take on the EW&F standard, and I like it a lot. I applaud Merritt for his efforts.
He has lots of videos on YouTube, and a lot of them are great. I just couldn't pull my ear away from this one, though. There's something about the music and the mix down that pulls it all together. That cajon box the percussionist is playing sounds exceptionally good mix wise, even if it is does lag a little in the timing department. My only complaint is that I can't quite hear what the keyboardist is doing. Other than that, amazing all around.
