While the days of guitar driven rock really seem to be fading, there are some songs from that era that seem to stick around forever. Right from the very beginning of the song, you know what you're getting. The guitar riff introduces you to the rest of the tune, and it's followed up by some big, big drum sounds, and then, some more guitar. There is one section of the song where a reverse snare drum effect and hi-hat are all that can be heard, but other than that, this is straight ahead screaming guitar rock. It's rock in its simplest form.
The song was the lead single from the group's ninth studio album, Love at First Sting. The song saw the #25 spot on the Hot 100 in the US. The video, which can be seen above, helped to push the song's popularity, too. The song was written by the band's vocalist, Klaus Meine, and drummer, Herman Rarebell. If you couldn't tell from those names, the band came to us from Germany. Oddly enough, the song did not fare as well over seas, only reaching the #78 spot in the UK.
