Man or a Muppet - Jason Segel & Walter

I've always been a fan of the Muppets, and the most recently released film only re-instilled that love for the characters. This is a little different from the other songs in this month's theme, but it is still a Disney property. The Walt Disney company purchased the rights to Henson's characters in 2004 with the exception of the Sesame Street characters. Since that time, the Muppets have still been going strong with their own branch at Disney, The Muppet Studios.

The Muppets were originally created by Jim Henson in 1955. They would appear on TV several times throughout the fifties and sixties, finally earning their own series in 1976 entitled The Muppet Show. The Muppets from this newest film aren't exactly the characters I grew up watching, but they are definitely closely related and updated for a new generation to love. If you're ever at Walt Disney World's Hollywood Studios, you can catch th Muppet experience with Muppet Vision 3-D.
