The second artist from the supergroup video from a couple of days ago is Steve Wariner. He has a great tenor voice that has an impressive range. He's a really underrated artist and has written songs for a lot of other great talent on top of his own songs. This was the first single and title track of his 1999 album. The song made #2 on the country charts and #30 on the Hot 100.
I like the laid back feel the song has, especially the brush pattern on the drums. As far as meaning goes, this song speaks for itself. One of my favorite things about country music are the lessons you can learn from it if you'll just really listen. So, I won't take away from Wariner's song by analyzing it. I'll just let you listen.
